Collective Soul Greenville Concert reviews
Moody Theater Poor acoustics
I feel like a venue like ACL’s Moody Theater should have great acoustics. However, this show was a total disappointment. For one of the key songs, “December” you couldn’t even hear the lead vocals.. they were drowned out by the band. For the opening act, couldn’t understand a single word from the singer. Extremely disappointing for a dedicated premier music venue I expect more of. Not sure if it is the space has lacking design or just bad sound guys. Just going Loud doesn’t make good or clear, crisp or powerful music. I may just pass on future shows at the Moody, because I can’t stand the disappointment. The band, Soul Collective - they were great - really have it going on, classy, quality, tight show.
